Covering 3,697 sq. m, among which 2,661 sq. m are floor space, Lu Xun Cinema has 1,133 wooden veneer seats for audiences. In 2002, China Film Group Cooperation invested 2,030,000RMB in the cinema to assemble equipments of digital film, which leads it into the "Un-film Age". On the base of the advanced hardware, the cinema has exerted all its strength to build up the five-star service software, some employees having the ability of speaking foreign languages. The State Administration of Radio Film and Television assessed it as the five-star cinema center and formally awarded it with the mark. Lu Xun Cinema Center has become the 36^th digital cinema of China and Shaoxing the 3^rd city owning digital film of Zhejiang Province besides Hangzhou and Ningbo.
