Railway

It’s convenient enough for passengers to go to Jiaxing from many other part of China. There are several railway stations in Jiaxing: Jiashan, Jiaxing, Haining and Changan, etc. All of the stations have ticket offices. Being in the middle of Shanghai-Hangzhou Railway, with a distance of just about 90 kilometers from Jiaxing to Shanghai and Hangzhou respectively, Jiaxing railway station easily offers plenty of trains to the cities such as Nanchang, Xiamen, Nanning, Huaihua, Fuzhou, Hengyang, Jinan, Hefei, Nanjing Baotou, Jilin, etc.

Bus Transport

With the Shanghai-Hangzhou Highway, 320 National Highway going through the city, Jiaxing has a complete and effective road transport system. In the city, there are two Long-distance bus stations: West Station and North Station. Bus No.20 runs between the two stations each day. Most of the long-distance buses start from the north station. The non-stop buses to the counties, Shanghai and Hangzhou mainly start from the west station where there are also non-stop buses to Nanjing, Ningbo, Wenzhou, Wuxi, Pudong airport, etc.  The small buses from Jiaxing urban district to the counties (cities) start every 5—10 minutes.

Bus: Buses start every 5-10 minutes in the urban area of the city, which costs each passenger ￥1 RMB.
