With the history of eighty-six years, the first ivory mango tree brought back by farmer Dao Tiqing from Qing Dao in Thailand in 1914 is still standing luxuriantly in the Mang Mao village, Wei Yuan town, Jinggu county. Most of the counties there grow the ivory mango trees and there were already 80,000 in 1993. The ivory-liked fruit is very heavy for about one kg with fresh juice and sweet meat but thin skin and small core. It is regarded as the king of tropical fruit for its various vitamins.
