Green Lake Park, locate in the centre of Kunming, consists of Harbour Pavilion, Moon Water pavilion, Guan Yu House and some gloriettes together with the lake.

The Green Lake Park was only a small sinus in Dianchi Lake at the very beginning, while it became what it is now after the lowering of water level. There, the water sparkles in the sunlight, and environment is beautiful very much. It seems to be the precious emerald in Kunming, and it is well known as "the Jade Flower Bowlder of the city".

Moon Water Pavilion and Golden fish Island are on the southeast of the lake, and on the northeast are Bamboo Island and Jiulong Chi. Huludao and Jiuqu Qiao lie on the south, and Harbour Pavilion lies on the west. The lake is designed logically and novelly.

Every year, from October to next February, there will be thousands of black-headed gulls here gamboling with tourists. They splash in the water and feed their younger generations, adding unlimited interests and vitality to the lake. Here, tourists can experience perfect harmony between man and nature.
