Daying River, which is as wide as hundreds of meters, is blocked by high mountains and thus narrows into a gorge which is as wide as 20-40 meters with the narrowest part, 7-8 meters.
On both sides of the river stand cragged high cliffs. They are facing each other across the river and look like a gate. It is said that in the past a tiger jumped from a huge stone in the river and landed on the other side of the river, so it is called Tiger Jumping Stone. Walk down the river for hundreds of steps, you will get to Water Falling Cave. At the entrance there are many rugged ripraps. The river pours down into the Cave first and then out, and continues to fall. The whole view is exciting and spectacular. So the best time for touring Tiger Jumping Stone is rainy seasons when there is a lot of water in the river.
