Flights

Hetian airport is a large international airport, it lies in the south of the city proper, and is 12 miles away from the downtown, it can accommodate all kinds of large civil flights. Except for Saturday, there will be large airliners bound for Urumchi on every day of a week, and take it as a turning point, it can reach all those large cities of the country and other parts of the world.

Road

The 315 national highway passes through Hetian, following this road, to the northwest, we can reach Ye city and Kashi; to the east, we can reach Minfeng, Ruoqiang, etc. To the north of town of Minfeng, there is a straight road in the desert, which can directly reach Luntai. This road is under good conditions, almost all the coaches from Minfeng to Kuerle take this road, and can reach Urumchi if you take this road further to the north.

City Transportation

Hetian lies in the great Takelamagan desert, and most of the scenic spots are in the inner desert, so the most convenient means of transportation is to rent a car. For the safety of your journey, you must rent those cross-country jeep cars with good performance.
