At nights in Hetian, people often listen to the authentic Uyghur traditional music and dance to it, eat rice-based polo or noodle-based Langmen from hot cauldrons in busy Uyghur restaurants or nibble their way along the stalls of ancient night markets. But if you have no interest in these traditional activities, you could enjoy the dramatic modern architecture in the center of the Unity Square, dance the night away at a score of flashy night clubs, grab a KFC burger or fried chicken at a Chinese chain, wander about the three enormous supermarkets, taste some seafood coming from the ocean more than 2,500 kilometers away for dinner in restaurants, or watch the world pass by as you linger at a number of modern coffee bars. All these are good ways to experience the live of Hetian people. And it will be definitely pity if you just stay in the hotel at the night when you are in Hetian.

There are many places in Hetian for you to enjoy your night life. The night markets have many stalls which supply a variety of products, like Nephrite Jade-a kind of high-quality jade in the world, fabrics, hand-made carpets in ancient patterns and different kinds of delicious foods with sizzling lamb kebabs, and mountains of fresh melons. Hetian cinema provides many interested films and its good facilities attract so many visitors. And there are marvelous and impressed architectures in the center around the enormous Hetian Unity Square where night clubs and places of public entertainment were set up and they give night performances and entertainments for customers every night.
