Bai suosuo of Ganjia Lake natural reserve, a national class natural reserve is the biggest bai suosuo natural reserve and the biggest conservation area in Asian, which is situated two hundred and forty to two hundred and sixty meters above the sea level. It is nature sight of Aibi Lake low-lying land, which formed at the end of the last ice age in the fourth century. The protecting area, covering an area of eight hundred and twenty thousand units of area, is the biggish wild hypo-forest and the biggest forest of Bai Suosuo. The protecting area, surrounded by rolling, green mountains on three sides, belongs to Aibi Lake Basin. There are wild animals such as horses, deer, antelopes, argali, wild boars, fox, hedgehogs, cuckoos, larks etc., which look for food, play, multiply, and live here leisurely and carefree. Old diversiform-leaved poplars, with twisted roots and gnarled branches, unveil the true spirit of the desert. The young diversiform- leaved poplars, with a mass of branches and leaves, bring immense vital force to the Gobi Desert.

In parts of Ganjia Lake protecting area, nature’s original shape is preserved. People can have a view of Asia’s unique physiognomy and sight and appreciate the interdependence between human and nature. Diversiform- leaved poplar, one of Sinkiang’s archaic and rare trees, has been commended by people the “the hero tree in the desert”. “Three thousand years” can best express diversiform-leaved poplars’ great vitality, that is, they can survive in one thousand years; they will not fall even they died one thousand years before; they won’t rot even they have fallen one thousand years before.
