It is located in the northeast of Bole City and adjoins Kazakhstan. And it is the only mountain pass for railway and road freight transportation and the gate for the Second Eurasia Bridge.
Ala Shan Mountain Pass is a nation-class port authorized by State Department. On 9.12,1990, the whole world paid much attention to it because it is the largest landway port in northwest. After a few years’ development, this port has attracted about five millions of investment. The boundless Gobi in the past has become an important port for imports and exports in the west of China.
