What's kind of ancient buildings are you more interested in? China has a great many of ancient buildings falling into different categories. Beijing and Xian keep China's imperial monuments, imperial palaces, temples. Ancient religious architecture is scattered around those famous regligious mountains such as Emei Mountain in Sichuan, Wutaishan Mountain in Henan.
