When is the best time to visit Qinghai Lake?

I have heard that Qinghai Lake is very beautiful so I want to visit there this year. Can someone tell me the best time to visit there?

I think the best time is in July and August. At that time, Xining is cool. The Qinghai Lake is beautiful. What’s more, you can watch “the Tour de Qinghai Lake International Road Cycling Race”.
