Weather in Guilin in July

Dad and I will be in the famous chinese city, guilin this july but I was told July was not a ideal time to be there because of the almost daily drizzle. Does the rain in the area have a major impact on getting around and all the touring activities? We will have a week long vocation and want to spend 3 days in Guilin and then go to Beijing and Shanghai and back to home. We do not want our plans to be disturbed by the really wet weather. We may consider going elsewhere if the weather is really disappointing. Please help us

Weather in Guilin is july is very comfortable, not so crappy as you had been told. Actually the wet weather comes in April and May. July is not the rainy season in Guilin.
