Historical legend Zhangzhung Kingdom believed in the Bon religion. It was historically registered that the creator of the Bon religion was the first king of Zhangzhung Kingdom.

Once flourishing on Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, Zhangzhung Kingdom was conquered by Tupo Kingdom in the 8th century. To be exact, the Ruins of Zhangzhung Kingdom was the ruins of its capital, which was once a magnificent stone architectural complex built about 1,600 years ago. But now, only some incomplete and broken walls of the capital have remained for visitors to ponder on the past.
