Tianta Lake

The only tower in the world surrounded by water, Tianta stands in the jade-green waves of Tianta Lake and high up in the clouds. It is one of the ten attractions in Tianjin and has a beautiful name, Tianta Floating Clouds.

Seen from a distance, the tower pierces the sky from a mirror-smooth lake. Moreover, Tianta is a TV and radio station, and a wonderful place where people can enjoy beautiful views and entertainment. A revolving restaurant in the shape of a flying saucer 248.5 to 278 meter high (seven stories) serves 200 people at once. It takes 45 to 60 minutes to make one revolution. While dining here, one enjoys a bird's-eye view of the magnificent metropolis of Tianjin.

At the foot of Tianta, enjoy a grand music fountain, a movie screen in the water, and the national longest man-made molded mountain.

1. The best time to go Tianta Lake is during the nightfall or in the evening. Enjoy the fabulous view of the inverted image of the tower in the waves of the lake. At the top of the tower, appreciate the wonderful night views of Tianjin City.
