Highway From Mianyang to Chengdu
The distance between Mianyang and Chengdu is about 100 kilometers or so. There are two highways connecting these two cities: one is called Dajian highway with good road condition and beautiful scenery; another is thruway, quick but a little boring to drive on. It is strongly suggested that from Chengdu to Guanghan you can choose the thruway, because during this stretch there are lots of trucks on the Dajian highway and there isn’t much beautiful scenery along this stretch. After Guanghan, you can get out of the thruway and get on the Dajian highway. In this stretch there are not so many trucks on the road, and the road condition is very nice. Driving on the road just like driving on the beautiful country road.
