With wide surface and winding lakeshore, there are 72 islands and islets scattering on the lake. The trees on the islands are green and lush. There are 10 unique scenic spots within the scenic area: Big Dam, Three Big Bays, Penglai Island, Blue Dragon-Mouth Botanical Garden, Longyan Cliff Statues and Carved Stone Paintings and Calligraphies, Chenggu Mountain, Double-Swallow Town, Bayi Archipelago, Hanjia Dam, Baiguo Dam and . Taiyi Dam north of the lake is an assembling place for cultural relics including dragon-shaped cliffs, seated Buddha and stone tablets. The dragon carved out of the cliff is 10 meters long with distinct scales and shells. It appears so vividly on the cliff that the small part of its body steeps into the lake while the rest of it buckjumps out of the water in the shape of paddle, which affords a magnificent view. The precipices on the two sides of a Buddha niche near the Dragon Cliff are smooth and traceless. But when water is splashed on the precipices, vigorous bamboo twigs and whistling leaves gradually appears, which is called “Po Shui Xian Zhu”(appearance of bamboo after water splash)
