Introduction

Erected in 1934, the four-star Park was Shanghai's tallest building until the 1980s - the Jinmao Tower of its day if you will. The Shanghai Park hotel is located at the very heart of Shanghai, on the legendary Nanjing Lu, right in the middle of all the bustle and hustle of this historic road. The Hongqiao International Airport is a mere 13 Kms away, the railway station and harbor are only 5 Kms away, whilst the famous Bund is only a 3km walk. There are a total of 208 rooms in the Shanghai Park hotel, from standard rooms up to deluxe suites, and some of these look out upon the People's Park. Other restaurants include the Fengze Lou Restaurant famous for its Beijing cuisine, the Leeward Hall which serves Cantonese dishes and the Lobby Coffee Shop.
