Shaanxi is comparatively advanced in transportation. The major means of transportation for traveling are flights, railway and highway.

There are airports in Xi'an, Yan'an, Yulin, Ankang and Hanzhong in Shaanxi Province. Xian’s, Xianyang international airport is the biggest in the north-west region and the No. 4 in China.

The Long-Hai Railway runs across Shaanxi region and  connects Huan Mountain, Lintong, Xi'an, Xianyang and Baoji; trains are available to Yan'an, Tongchuan and Ankang in Xi'an.

Xiang Long Company ticket office (Xiaozhai Middle Road No.111, by Hantang Bookstore), opens the whole day;
Guangdian Center ticket office (Chang'an South Road No. 336) opens the whole day

Xi'an is the hub of the highway system in Shaanxi and here there are nine national roads that radiate from this hub. It is the no. 2 highway interchange in China, next to Beijing. Freeways run from Xi’an to Tongchuan, Huan Mountain, Tongguan, Xianyang and Baoji.
