The Temple Fair takes place every Spring Festival(Chinese new year) within the Ditan Temple. The fair features displays of arts & crafts throughout the country, Nianhua(New Year Paintings) from Tianjin, paper-cuttings from Shanxi, wooden carvings from the northeast region. Other delights are the various snacks and culture shows from folk artists.

The festival falls on the 30th day of the 12th lunar month and lasts for eight days, from 9 a.m to 7p.m..
