Shanghai do not brim with attractions with braod appeal. I think the interest of visiting Shanghai lies not so much in scurrying from sights to sights but in less obvious pleasures: strolling the bund, exploring the pockets of colonial architecture in the old French Concession, sampling the exploding restaurant and nightlife scene, absorting the rebirth of one of the world's greatest cities. Or, perhaps you may wish to stroll around the Yuyuan Garden to feel the art of traditional Chinese garden building.
