Railway

Here is the junction station of the railway from Shengyang to Dandong, the railway from Liaoyang to Benxi and the railway from Benxi to Tianshifu Town. The trains from Dalian, Shanhaiguan and Liaoyan pass through Benxi. Besides, there are railways to Beijing, Liaoyang, An’shan, Dalian, Changchun, Qingdao, Quanyang, Shanhaiguan, Dandong, Longzhen, etc.

Benxi Long-distance Passenger Station is in front of the Railway Station. Inquiry telephone number is 2823309. It takes only one hour from Benxi to Shenyang through express highway. The bus sets off from 5:50 a.m. to 17:00 p.m. like running water and the fare is 11 yuan.

Public Traffic in Benxi developed very well and now over 30 routes were opened up. Most buses have implemented self-service ticketing system; passengers insert one or two yuan into the Money Box. There are some routes through scenic spots directly.

The flag price of the taxi in Benxi is 5 yuan for 3 kilometers; the following is one kilometer for 1.4 yuan. Sometimes you can bargain with the driver.
