Lianyungang Baitabu Airport is located with the borders of Donghai County and is 30 kilometers away from the urban areas (Xinpu). There are shuffle buses heading for the airport at the ticket office of civil aviation on Hailian Road (50 meters east of Mingzhu (Bright Pearl) Hotel) in Xinpu District. The trip takes one hour.

Railway

Lianyungang has two main railway stations, namely, Lianyungang (the destination of the Longhai railway line) and Xinpu (the urban areas of Lianyungang City). If you want to go to Lianyungang City, generally you have to get on and off at the Xinpu stop. Only if you get to the seaside can you get to the terminal station of Lianyungang.

There are three coach stations in the urban areas (Xinpu) of Lianyungang City. Since the Ninglian highway has been opened to traffic, it only takes five hours to get to Nanjing. The fare of a luxury large bus is 90 yuan and that of Yiweike is 60 yuan.

Lianyungang Municipal Coach Station Terminal is located No. 9 Renmin Road (500 meters east of the Xinpu railway station). Most of the intra-municipal and intra-provincial shuffle coaches (except Kuaike (express coach)) start from here. Of them, more coaches head for Linxi, Rizhao and Qingdao of Shangdong Province, which runs every less than one hour.

Xinpu Express Passenger Transport Station is located on Yinzhou Road (500 meters south of the Hualian Longhe Square). It heads for southern cities such as Nanjing (runs every fifteen minutes), Huai’an (runs every half an hour), Shanghai (leaves at 7：30 and 12：20 every day), Yancheng, Yangzhou (eight departures every day), Suzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou, Zhenjiang, Nantong and Fuhu.
