Brief-introdiction:
Chuxiu Garden was a marshland outside the city area, Yudai River on the south passed here. During the Qing Dynasty, the navy was trained here. In Ming Dynasty, Emperor Wuzong made an inspection tour in the south, when he was fishing here, he fell into the river, after he returned Beijing, he was terribly sick, and died the next year. The allusion “ Yuelong pond” came out of this story. As the time went by, the lake became dry, after the founding of new China, the government of Huaiyin paid great attention to the city planning and garden planning, in 1958, this land was listed as public land, which was rebuild in 1983, the project started in 1986, and finished in 1989.
