Inner Mongol is very wide and the latitude is high. The area of plateau is wide and it is very far away from the ocean. So, the main climate is temperate continental monsoon climate.
The best tourist seasons in Inner Mongolia are July and August. In other months, it is cool and the temperature difference is obvious, so remember to take long sleeves coats with you when you travel in Inner Mongolia.
