Nowadays most Chinese families in city have three members including father, mother and child. In some countryside, the sizes of family are larger. Most of them will have two or three children and live with grandparents. With the development of the economic, most wives have their jobs.

Nowadays, most chinese families are the nuclear families, consisting either of a married couple with unmarried children or of a married couple without children.
