Equipped with world class facilities, Hong Kong Olympic Equestrian Venue will offer place for equestrian events including Jumping, Dressage, and Eventing for Beijing Olympics 2008. Here a 5.7-km temporary cross country track ten meters in width has been constructed. The equestrian events including Dressage and Jumping events will be hold in the main venue converted from the Hong Kong Sports Institute and the Penfold Park in Sha Tin. It owns 18000 seats. The cross-country test of the Eventing competition venue will be hold at Beas River Country Club in Sheung Shui. The venue has 80 temporary stable blocks. And there are 13 practice arenas available for Jumping and Dressage as well as 3 practice arenas for cross-country test. The Hong Kong Equestrian offers every facility needed in Olympics for horses and athletes.
