Brief Introduction to the City
Shangqiu lies in eastern part of Henan Province and the conjunction of Henan, Shandong, Jiangsu, and Anhui provinces. It covers an area of 10704 square kilometers with a total population of 8.04 million.
Shangqiu is located in the Huang Huai Hai Plain. Being richly endowed by the nature, it enjoys a moderate climate and abundance of produce. It is prosperous in farming, forestry, animal husbandry, sideline production, and fishery. It is the national famous production base of agricultural and sideline product.
