Donglin Temple covers 120,000 square kilometers while its buildings cover 4,500 square kilometers. In total, there are 50 people of the first-level and the second level of monks. Donglin Temple was generated from two monk’s huts, gradually followed by the constructions of the Gateway, Precious Hall of the Great Hero, Tianwang Temple, the Clock Tower, the Drum Tower, and Open Guanyin. At present, the Seven-floor Pagoda is under construction, which is 41-metre high. Three Sages Temple, Sheli Temple, and the Hillside Buddhist Sculptures are on the planning stage. Since Donglin Temple was built, Buddhists come and go. By now, over 500,000 of tourists have already visited it.
