Brief introduction of Qitaihe
The city of Qitaihe, a new rising modern industrial city, like a bright pearl, lies in the Northeast China. The city has the perfect tourist resources, a combination of natural scenery, historical relics and places of cultural interest. The Taoshan Mountain, Immortal Cave Mountain, and Wanbao Mountain in the city, like the three angles of a triangle, surround the city of Qitaihe. Wanbao Lake and Taoshan reservoir, like two pearls, embed in northern and southern parts of the city of Qitaihe. The Woken River runs across the whole city. The beautiful natural scenery of “three mountains, two lakes and one river” has made the city of Qitaihe form the special mountain and river landscape of “city in the mountains and rivers, and mountains and rivers in the city”. The recent developed West Circle natural preservation zone with beautiful paths, ancient trees with thousand years, green hills and rare rocks has become the famous tourist spot in eastern Heilongjiang province. Every year, thousands of visitors go there. The new built Wanbao mountain ski resort and Immortal Cave mountain ski resort in the city not only fill the void of ski tourist program in Qitaihe, but also improve the reputation of Qitaihe. The city of Qitaihe has an area of 6221 square kilometers and has a population of 860 thousand.
