Brief Introduction:
Diaoshuilou Waterfall looks like the world-famous Niagara Falls very much. The lake water rolls and roars in the bedrock, just as mighty force rushing toward the deep pool, and falls straightly from the breaking cliffs and crags, throwing itself into the circle kettle hole finally. The spoondrifts in deep pool water are splashing, just as cloud drift, piles of snow or penetrating mist. It is also like the galaxy rushing reversely or the white silk hanging in the sky. The water makes a deafening sound just like claps of thunder. The waterfalls have a breadth of over 40 meters and a fall of 12 meters generally. In the rainy season or flood season, the waterfalls fall down by splitting into two strands or several strands with a total breadth of more than 200 meters. On two sides of the waterfall are lofty and cragged cliffs and steep odd rocks. Standing beside the cliffs is like just standing before a bottomless abysm, giddy and dazzled. A big and tall age-old elm with luxuriant foliage and spreading branches is like a natural gigantic umbrella, standing upright among the cliffs and ripraps. Among blocky shadows of the tree, a cabinet aniseed pavilion called “Pavilion for Viewing Waterfalls” stands beside the cliff. The hoop ball and chain guardrail is built from the pavilion to the mouth of the waterfall and its northern in order to protect the tourists from dropping into the waterfall. Below the old elm there is a stone ladder chiseled by manual work winding its way to the Heishi deep Pool in the bottom of the cliff. In the period of low water, the deep pool water has no waves, very calm. It is measured that depth of Heishi deep pool reaches 60 meters and the diameter is reaching over 100 meters. In fine days, when the sun irradiates the waterfall, the bright-colored rainbow will turn up. The tourists who have been here all marvel at the spectacular scenery. One poet once wrote an elegant poet for it which says “The waterfall Downfalls as piles of snow, thunders like fall covering long-distance. It has deep pool penetrated with rosy clouds and mist and beautiful banks permeated with dew”. The cause of formation of waterfalls: when the volcanoes erupt, the lava flew out of the volcanoes and it which met the air first was cooled into crust. While there was still some gas left in the lava inside of the crust, it was not until the lava indurated entirely did the gas escape from the crust and the air holes or hollow holes were formed. These holes then caved in and formed lava grottos of various sizes. When the lake water dropped from the fracture surface of the lava grottos into the grottos, the spectacular waterfalls were eventually formed. The cause of the formation is approved by seeing about.
