Village of Oroquen Nationality neighbors Baiyinna Town in Huma County eastwards and Tahe Town westwards and Hanjiayuanzi Town across Huma River southwards and YIxiken Town. The Village was established in September of the year 1953.Now there are total 4458 people including 10 nationalities. Among the population, people of Oroquen Nationality are 546 ones and there are 3724 ones of Han Nationality. After liberation the lifestyle of the local Oroquen Nationality are changed from hunting, fishing and gathering into a steady settling. The Village is at situated at the foot of a hill and beside a stream. Its length from east to west is 56 kilometers and its width from south to north is 55 kilometers. The holy primitive totems will be observed in the Village. Oroquen Nationality believe in Saman Religion and it is a kind of polytheism. And they worship the Mountainous God extremely. Furthermore, travelers can experience the kindness and the goodness of the local Oroquen people and understand deeply their country lifestyles full of romance.
