Qingyan Old Town: established as a town in 1738 in the Ming Dyanasty, is 29 kilometres from Guiyang. Mang ancient buildings and cultural relics of this walled town have been well preserved, including over 100 sites of historical interest. The unique ness of this ancient town lies in its three stone archways, dwelling with double -eave roofs, stairwaytype streets paved with flagstone and certain ancient build ings. It was designated as a national cultural relic in 1995.
