Guilin, Yangshuo trip

We are planing a trip to Guilin, yangshuo this may holiday from May 1st to 3rd and our travel route is Shenzhen-Guilin-Longsheng-Yangshuo-Nanning and then back to Shenzhen. Are three days enough for this trip(we only have three days off work)? and how much will it cost for a three day trip to the mentioned destinations(airfare excluded). Many thanks for your answers.

You will be in a hurry if you want to include the all the places you mentioned in your tours. You need at least one day touring around the sights around the city, the elephant trunk hill, symbol of Guilin, Reed Flute cave and climbing to either the Fubo or Folded Brocade Hill for a bird's-eye view of city amongest the pinnacles. You need another day to cruise down the Li River to Yangshuo and then one more day for a trip to Longsheng to see the terraced fields and ethnic villages. Nanning is around 4.5 hours' drive away from Guilin, so y9ou may have to spend half your day on the way. if you want to go to Nanning, you have to add one or two days to your trip. But i do not think Nanning is worth your time.
