Liuzhou Bailian Airport is capable for medium passenger planes, such as Boeing 737, to take off and land, having more than 10 scheduled flights commuting large and medium cities, such as Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Haikou and Shanghai etc. 20,000 m away to the urban area of Liuzhou, the airport is accessible by airport bus, bus No. 21 and taxi. Passengers can take airport bus at the ticket office of China Transportation Building 1 hour and 50 minutes before the plane taking off (15RMB per person) or at the ticket office of Guotai Building 1 hour and 40 minutes before the plane taking off (10 RMB per person). The airport bus from the airport to urban area will arrive at Fish Peak Hill via airport intersection and Wucha intersection. You can get off on the way and pay 10 RMB for the ticket. If taking taxi, you must pay one way when passing the toll station of Liushi Road.

Railway

Liuzhou is the most important hinge of railway transportation in Guangxi, the major railway lines in the south of China, including Hunan-Guangxi, Guizhou-Guangxi, Jiaozuo-Liuzhou and Litang-Zhanjiang etc, join here; all trains from Guangdong and Guangxi to Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou and western Hunan pass here.

Highway

National Road 209, 322 and 323 all pass Liuzhou. At present, high speed buses from Liuzhou to Nanning and Guilin have been opened. There will be one bus pulling out every 15 to 20 minutes from 7:00 to 22:00 everyday.

Bus：

Buses in Liuzhou are all of self-service ticketing. So, you need to prepare small charge or punch IC card of public transportation when getting on the bus. There are 2 kinds of prices, 1RMB and 1.5RMB; its operation time is from 6:00 to 22:30. Besides, there are also special line buses for tourist sightseeing and shopping, which arrive at the railway station, major tourist attractions and shopping places. They are green and double-decker buses, with the same ticket price as normal buses.

Taxi：

In Liuzhou, it is cheap and convenient to take taxi; the starting prices are as following: 3RMB within 1,000 m; 4RMB between 1,000 m and 1,499 m; 5RMB between 1,500 m and 1,999 m. Beyond 2,000 m, it costs 1.5RMB per 1,000 m, 0.3RMB in addition every 200 m; when the one-way drive is over 7,000 m, it charges empty return fee, which is 50% of the price for the extra distance; from 23:00 to 5:00, it charges additional 20% of the price for the allowance of night-drive; during the waiting period, it is free within 10 minutes, beyond witch it costs 0.3RMB per minute; when going out of the urban area, passengers pay the charges for passing certain roads and bridges; drivers can not require those charges for empty return; passengers can refuse to pay when drivers do not charge according to the fee register or not give enough ticket.
