Guilin Ocean Aquarium opened to the public on Sept 30 of 2003. As not only a place for appreciate the ocean living things but also a place for you to taste the profound ocean culture, Guilin Ocean Aquarium combines science education with ecological environment education. Guilin Ocean Aquarium covers an area of 10,000 square km with over 100 fishbowls and nearly 1,000 species of fish. The centre has an observation area, performance area, tropical forest and waterfall area, a touching area, underwater tunnel, sea area.
