There is no airport in Fangchenggang, but the traffic here is convenient. It only takes you 2 hours from Nanning to Fangchenggang Wuxu Airport by Nan (Nanning) – Fang (Fangchenggang) Expressway or less than 2 hours to Beihei Fucheng Airport by Gui (Guilin)—Hai (Beihai) Expressway.

Railway:   

There is only one train route in Fangchenggang: Fangchenggang – Nanning that is connected with Li--Qin route, Xiang—Gui route, and Nanning - Kunming route, leading to all parts of the country. If you want to go to Fangchenggang, you’d better first arrive in Nanning where you can take the No: 8521 Nanning -- Fangchenggang train route at 12:53 at noon and at around 16:40 you can arrive in Fangchenggang; or you can take the No: 8522 Fangchenggang -- Nanning train route at early 8:17 and arrives in Nanning at around 12:03. Ticket is 13 Yuan.  

Fangchenggang Railway Station is located in Xinggang Avenue of Fangcheng District where you can take a taxi to any place of the urban area, which doesn’t cost you more than the minimum fare. If passengers are quite few, the train ticket can be bought at the any time.

Highways:

Fangchenggang is 143 kilometers from Nanning in the south, 53 kilometers from Qinzhou in the east, 153 kilometers from Beihai and 317 kilometers from Zhanjiang; the built Qin--Fang Expressway is linked with Nanning, Qinzhou and Beihai, connected with the highway network of southwestern China and southern China. Highway traffic extends in all direction and spreads all over the urban and rural areas. In Nanning Bus Station, Fangchenggang-bound bus is dispatched every half an hour. In the major urban districts of Fangchenggang: Fangcheng, Gangkou, Dongxing and Shangsi, the regular buses travel to and fro between urban area and every county and prefecture.

Waterway:

Fangchenggang adjoins Beibu Bay, 150 miles away from Haifang City of Vietnam, 800 miles away from Ho Chi Minh City of Vietnam, and about 500 miles away from Hong Kong. You can reach the near places: Guangxi, coastal areas of Guangdong, Hainan and the coastal areas of Vietnam or reach the farther places: Hong Kong, Macao, Japan and the Southeast Asian countries and regions, so Fangchenggang became a gateway to the southeastern Asia. There are many harbors here: Fangchenggang Harbor, Whitedragon Pearl Harbor, Dongxing Harbor, Jiangping Harbor, etc. which are all large-scale quays relying mainly on freight transportation and a little passenger boats leave for Xialong Bay of Vietnam.
