Splendid China miniature landscape is the richest, most vivid and most comprehensive miniature landscape of Chinese history, Chinese ancient architecture and folk customs and covers an area of 300,000 square meters. Nearly one hundred spots are represented in scale according to the territory of China. You can find world- famous places like the Great Wall, The Terracotta Warriors and horses in Mausoleum of First Emperor of Qin, the most ancient stone arch bridge, The forbidden City and largest Buddha figure, the largest royal garden, the longest gallery in a grotto and the most magnificent building with the highest altitude.

The display as depicts the solemn and respectful Yellow Emperor's mausoleum, resplendent Confucian temple, majestic Taishan Mountain, the Three Gorges on the Yangtze River, picturesque landscape of Lijiang River, various towers, temples, buildings and grottos, and folk residences.

Ancient ceremonies such as the ceremony when the emperor offers sacrifice to the God of the  Sky and wedding of Emperor Guangxi in Qing Dynasty, the fiesta in Confucian temple are preformed together with performances of folk customs.

This a window to Chinese history, culture though which great insight can be gained in a few hours at Splendid China.
