The transportation is very developed. There are tens of buses and trolley buses running in the urban city and suburb. From 5:30 to 21:00 every day, it’s very convenient to take buses. Now, there are three kinds of buses in Chongqing. The first is the common bus. The ticket costs 1 Yuan. Bus 402, from the Liberation Monument to Shapin Dam, is the longest line and the admission fee is 1.5 Yuan. The second is the midlevel bus. It carries out a system which sets the price of ticket according to the distance. The starting fare is 1.5 Yuan. This bus is air-conditioned. The third is the high-level bus. It adopts aero seat. It also carries out the system which sets the price of ticket according to the distance. The starting fare is 2 Yuan. Travelers can take buses of the airport from the airport to the urban city. It stops over the Longhu Garden, the Customs in Yubei District, and the end point is the Shangqing Temple in the Yuzhong district. Or travelers can take a taxi. But it doesn’t amount time and distance, so travelers must bargain by themselves. Now, a kind of new taxi called “Lingyang (antelope)”appears in Chongqing. The price of this car is as high as that of Aotuo, but it can hold 4 people and it’s much more comfortable than Aotuo. The fee for taking a “Lingyang” to the urban city is usually about 80 Yuan. It should be very developed as to the present urban transportation in Chongqing. Bus lines are radiated in all directions. The fee for taxi is also relatively cheap(starting fee is 5 Yuan, 1.8 Yuan per kilometer after 3 kilometers(1.20Yuan/kilometer,0.60 Yuan/kilometer free-back fee).In addition, the Light Rail Train Num.1 has been run in Chongqing now. The starting point is Chongqing zoo in Yangjiaping, and the end point is the Jiaochangkou in the Yuzhong District. The fee is 5 Yuan. Mini-buses (also called medium buses) in Chongqing have a unified price in the whole city. Don’t worry about being cheated and travelers may rest assured to take. In addition, if travelers take a bus with air conditioner in summer, the fee will be more 0.50 Yuan than that of bus without air conditioner.
