Qingdao International Beer Festival to be Celebrated on September 19

From September 19 to October 5, 2008, the 18th Qingdao International Beer Festival, themed as "Celebrating the Olympics, Toast with the World", will be held at Qingdao International Beer City.
It attracts 48 domestic and world renowned beer big names, and the overall layout of the beer city becomes more rational and guarantee smooth flow of materials and people. The beer city is divided into beer drinking area, carnival entertainment area, comprehensive activities and services management area, which effectively strengthen the interaction among different areas, improve the space usage rate and comfortable degree of the participants.
Besides the three traditional festival activities: beer drinking, carnival entertainment, performance, some business exhibitions and beer expo will also be held. At 7:30, September 19, 2008 the opening ceremony is to be held at the central stage of the beer city, integrating the celebration of the success of the Olympics. During the opening ceremony, a large-scale flame and firework show is to be held in Qingdao Golden Beach.
